Small Pennywise Haul

Needed a couple things in Pennywise so I decided to venture to the makeup counter. I was inquiring on the Sacha intense matte lipstick collection of which they had only wicked in stock. While I was at the counter I ended up getting these items.

L.A. Colors Swirl lip gloss - Red Swirl Review and Swatch

Purchased at Dollar Tree ($1usd)

Simple packaging black cap, clear tube and product is red with a peachy silver swirl. Contains 0.22fl oz 6.6ml of product and has 24m of life. This product was Made in China and is Distributed by Beauty 21 Cosmetics, Inc.

When swatches one gets a frosty red color. It's a bit opaque in application. However very glossy and sticky in consistency.

Wear time is considerably long if one does not eat or if lips do not make contact with anything 💋💋

Does not stain lips but the shimmer does linger a bit on the lips.

The scent is a plastic bubblegum scent. Feels cheap on the lips and has a weird pleasant at first but then cheap right after scent. I know that sounds weird but that's the best I can describe it. Feels really cheap on the lips. And feels really tacky as it wears off.

Little bit of product compared to other lip glosses purchased at the Dollar Tree. Scent is not the best. Feel on lips is not totally pleasant.

Would not repurchase or recommend.

Black packaging as against the gold ... I initially liked but then I realized it was getting really messy quickly to my dismay. So I'm not totally a fan about the packaging.

The scent is very typical of Loreal and I think it's quite pleasant. Those who don't love scented makeup may not like this product.

Such a gorgeous everyday color. Applies a bit sheer but it's buildable. It's very moisturizing so I think it's perfect to be worn with a lip pencil. No gloss is needed. It's not opaque or drying. No taste/flavor. Scent lingers.

Overall not a regret because this is definitely a lipstick I can use everyday for work.

Didn't pick up much but I got a couple items that was on my wish list and one new item that I saw and I really wanted to try out.

Nyx cosmetics black label lipstick in BLL191 Bling Bling

Purchased this on sale at Wonderful World for $25ttd about $4usd was so happy to purchase on sale

Packaging is bulky but really nice I really like it.

Nyx Bling Bling is a pink nude

Applies a bit sheer but it's buildable. I love it for daily use for work it's really nice and natural

I have no issues with this lipstick it's moisturizing but sits well on the lips. Just packaging is a bit bulky

Makeup decluttering and no buy

I felt like sharing this and I may have a vlog accompanying this blog just discussing these topics.

Decluttering: yes I am!!! At first I would start and then put items in a bag then I would miss the item and pul it back in lol but I have been faithful. I actually gave quite a bit of makeup away. Others I'm uploading here on this blog for sale. The experience is quite challenging as most of my makeup has a story... An experience .. They are my pplz lol most persons would not understand lol but it's like saying but to friends. Especially those that I used a bit. I've decluttered like 10 blushes and about 10 small eyeshadow palettes. I may do foundations soon and face powders. I'm hoarding these items and it's sad for me to let go but I really want them to get used and loved.

Even though I've been uploading hauls most of those have been over the summer. So I checked to date I haven't hauled for a month. I have not purchased anywhere recently. I did have a couple items I received like two weeks ago but I ordered like 3 weeks prior. As you know I'm an avid eBay and online shopper so this was also hard.

What have I learnt?

I started using so much more of my collection. I have seen new limited edition items but I've turned my eyes away. I have decided to keep digging in my collection for similar colors etc. this helps a bit. I don't need any new makeup. I have tonnes of everything so for the next few months I'll be trying extra hard lol and hopefully I can pump out more reviews for you all on the products I'm currently using.

Of course I love feedback so how are you fellow makeup lovers doing?
