Lorac Mega Pro Dupe from Allibaba

I was in search of the real Lorac mega pro I was unable to get it when it came out. Having the Lorac pro and unzipped dupes I realise that the quality was not much different from the real ones. So after hunting down the mega pro palette I saw a couple bring sold around $80usd new and $60usd used. But it's hard to know orbits the real palette as so many have been sold the dupes instead of the real ones. I paid $15usd for my dupe palette. Haven't swatched yet but will post a review with swatches here soon.

Inexpensive palettes I cant let go

As I am in the process of decluttering Im assessing my makeup. Found these and I know I haven't touched them in months

My City Color Cosmetics Slim eyeshadow palette. Inexpensive buy!!! 

But as I opened .....

I decided to swatch and omg I can't part with these beauties. Didn't give them enough love but I sooooo need to. For those craving the Marsala color and the warm colors of the Jaclyn Hill palette these four palettes can satisfy you while still getting your pop of color. I'm in love all over again. I will do individual swatches of each palette in a separate blog post. If you have these pull them out!!! Lol

I'm so in love all over again!!

Saw Sacha cosmetics ad on Facebook and their new Enchanted lipstick had Roanna on it. So I decided to go and get it!!!!!!

Loreal Collection Exclusive by JLo - Jennifer's nude 370

Black packaging as against the gold ... I initially liked but then I realized it was getting really messy quickly to my dismay. So I'm not totally a fan about the packaging. 

 

The scent is very typical of Loreal and I think it's quite pleasant. Those who don't love scented makeup may not like this product. 

Such a gorgeous everyday color. Applies a bit sheer but it's buildable. It's very moisturizing so I think it's perfect to be worn with a lip pencil. No gloss is needed. It's not opaque or drying. No taste/flavor. Scent lingers. 

Overall not a regret because this is definitely a lipstick I can use everyday for work.

Mascaras from China

I have purchased a number of palettes that are the dupe versions to highend palettes. I have bought a number of dupe/like/fake whichever word you prefer to use to call these items. Ranging from lipsticks, blushes, eyeliners, eyeshadows, palettes and even bronzers. Recently I noticed even drugstore popular items were being duped. For example these Maybelline mascaras

The most recent of the three is the Maybelline rocket. Prices for these were no more than $1.60usd. Quite inexpensive. I have not used them as yet but I will soon. I know there are a number of skeptics but my experience in using these dupe products us that they are as good as the regular items. 

I also purchased these two others from China, but I'm not familiar with the brand

If you have tried any of the above products (any of the 5)  please share your experience and thoughts.

Sacha Cosmetics...who me???

I'm intrigued!!

I usually go to Sacha Cosmetics Image Center (SCIC) in West Mall to get waxed (eyebrows and upper lips). I hardly ever let anyone do my eyebrows except hubby, but when he's not available I head to SCIC. There is only one lady I allow to touch my face. I needed to get my upper lip wax so last evening I stepped into SCIC.  While I was being waxed I saw my boys busy looking at eyeshadows, the mommy in me blurted out please don't touch and break anything. ☺ when I was cashing out one of my sons said mom wait I need to cash out too... I was like huh??

He saw an eyeshadow and liked it for me ... How cute right?? I was like no hun don't buy .. He insisted and I asked to see but he wanted to pay for it first.

Sacha Cosmetics Iced Champagne

First Impressions? 

I am incredibly shocked. Like you can't really imagine how taken back I am. I really have had a negative view on Sacha's eyeshadows. Having bought the quads and trios (yes like 5-7 years ago 😳) I hated them - chalky, chunky, lacked pigmentation, some had "a crust on the top" I really never got use out of them. 

I was torn between accepting a gift and not liking a brand. 

New thoughts???

I'm SUPER IMPRESSED!!! If my son did not buy this shadow I would have had that old ideology of Sacha's eyeshadows. I'm really impressed so much that Im considering breaking my Project Pan 20 to try out some more!! But I won't!! However, now I will create a wish list lol

City Color Cosmetics at Wonderful World

I decided that after my horrible customer service at Wonderful World West Mall, that i would give WW a break.. I was spending way too much money for horrible service.  But as I was waiting on a dear friend in Long Circular Mall I decided to pop in to the WW store thats located on the main floor.  As i went to the makeup section, I was pleasantly surprise to see City Color Cosmetics.  I started looking for all the other items. After I located them, I started taking pics.. You know I had to get the word to all my subbies, followers, makeup lovers... just had to get the word out to everyone.  So I  hauled a bit and then the next day I happened to be in the Chaguanas area and decided to check the WW store at Center City mall.  I did not have my phone so I was unable to take pics, but they did have a wide selection than the Long Circular mall branch, so of course I hauled again.  Below are photos of the displays at the Long Circular branch and the last pic is of what I hauled from the Center City mall branch.  I have recorded a vid on the hauls so you can check out my channel: http://www.youtube.com/roannavm for that vid.. These are my new go to purple blushes. I love my La Femme Lilac Champagne blush but I'm afraid to use it all up. So now I'm using my other purple blushes. My four go to purple blushes are

Rouane lipsticks and swatches

Here we have the five (5) Rouane lipsticks that I own. Before this year I only had one (1) lipstick from this brand - Romance. Romance has a gorgeous golden peach undertone that caught my eye. I, however, hardly used this lipstick. I then purchased Paradise Pink- gorgeous gorgeous blue toned pink. After falling in love with these two I ventured out into getting three more. So now I own Cafe au lait, Purple madness, Sangria, Paradise pink, Romance. These lipsticks are mainly available at Pennywise (Trinidad and Tobago) even though it's available in some beauty and variety stores. I've only purchased mine at Pennywise Grand Bazaar - $7.95ttd ($1.24usd)

Rouane lipsticks are pretty creamy and are opaque. Swatches in the picture below we're done with 1-2 swatches. Amazing pigmentation for the cost. Wear-time is pretty decent also and it does stain your lips. One of my drawbacks with this lipstick is that there isn't a wide color selection available. Another drawback is that the lipsticks have the old traditional lipstick scents. I'm not too fancy about this 😞. But all in all I do think they are worth the buy!!
