Urban decay lip junkie and Mac Dazzleglass my new favs

So my new love with nude lips is to have shimmery glosses on my lips.. and i happen to pull out these two products:

• Urban Decay lip junkie  in midnight cowboy 
• Mac dazzleglass in Rages to riches

OMG it was love at first sight all over again, at times I just dont know which I should use.  So I dropped the UD in this week's makeup basket ...

but goodness me... i still grab my Mac.. i absolutely love them.
Consistency: they are both tacky in nature and the wear time is amazing due to their tackiness.  I would eat and drink and these babies would still have evidence on my lips.. not meager.. but remains pretty intact. They do carry shimmer, but its not chunky and you do not feel the shimmer/glitters on your lips. You can an amazing shimmer that is rather natural looking..

 The Urban Decay lip junkie wears a bit longer than the MAC and it has a cooling feel to it once applied to the lips.  After about a minute that sensation goes.  It says that its cools and plumps, but it does not do that for me. 
They both have a gorgeous finish.  I am absolutely in love and will repurchase these.  I will search through my collection and see if I have any cheaper dupes if not when my Project Pan 300 is over I can try a couple cheaper brands that have the same color scheme and will report back on whether there are any cheaper dupes ...
Would I recommend...Absolutely!!!

Haul: CCO

I've been trying my very best not to purchase any makeup even for the Christmas holiday.  I'm really proud of myself because I did really well.  I was at a CCO [Orlando] last weekend and saw the eyeshadow palettes from this line

I had to get one of the palettes so i choose Fresh Cut, I absolutely love it. The palette has

• Floral Inc. - (Frost)
• Sun-Shy - (Lustre)

• Poppy Noir - (Velvet)
• Bloomcycle - (Veluxe Pearl)
• Part Peony - (Lustre)
• #213SE brush

I haven't used it yet, but as soon as I do I will post a look.  I decided to pick up the shadestick in red velvet to use as a base with it.  Believe it or not that is all I bought.  I know that there are tonnes of negative review on shadesticks but i actually like them, since I travel a lot and they are travel friendly.  I will do some swatches later and post them.  Have a great weekend all!

EOTD: smokey blue...

So this is my first attempt at a smokey look.  To be honest i always felt that  the smokey look did not look good on me.  I felt i looked like someone punched me in the eye :)  however this is my attempt.  I used many colors from my novel twist cool palette

At first i felt like I was not getting anywhere..since I never did a smokey eye before I was rather apprehensive... but this was what i ended up with.. one of my major challenges was on how dark to go.. i did not a too smoked out eye :) please let me know what you think... also I took the pics like 4 hours after I applied.. so excuse the rest of my face i was really tired...

Project 5 Pan

Now i know a lot of makeup junkies like myself are doing what we call "Project 10 pan"... but im not that ambitious lol... but i am holding back with buying... so below are my items for my Project 5 pan

Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in mediumdark/ natural and shimmer [using it for like a month now] , Loreal hip in saucy [had this for like 8 months its my first go to when i want to do a quick look], nyx lip pencil in coffee [my fav.. have a backup.. used this all the time and had it for like a year now] maybelline the collosal volum' express mascara in black [used to be my fav... now it just wont finish :)] and avon magix face perfector spf 20 [primer, have been using this for about 3 months]

I was thinking I may have other products [lippies] that I can add to this.. maybe I will update this  post another time.. but for now these are my Project 5 pan items ...

EOTD: burgundy with brown and green...

This is the looked i got today,... wasn't sure what i was going for when i started.. i just started pulling out colors and trying them.... this is what i ended up with...

I have Mac's pigment in gold stroke as a base color on the lid added henna in the crease then added some old gold on top of it.. took a Loreal Hip duo in cheeky took the dark color added it to my crease.. and then took the plum color and touched up the inner 2/3 of my lid and i used an ulta shadow as highlighter... not sure what to call this look ... lol... :) ... and this pic was taken out about 5-6 hours after i put it on...

I did this look using three colors, a mac pigment on the lid...a loreal hip duo in saucy i used the brown side of it in the crease and a no name color as my highlighter... liner and mascara and i was set.. heres what it looked like..

Anniversary gift..

My 8th wedding anniversary was on August 20, 2009 and part of my gift was some mac products from my favorite CCO :) and a Mac counter I will post the name of each product in another post..just thought i'll share it with you.. i really wanted the mineralize skinfinish... and the eyeshadow in henna... I will try to give review on these products .. how they work for me with my asian olive toned skin...

I got this almost a month ago... and thought i'll share it with you haven't used any of the products yet... i actually gave the highlighter powder to a friend because it wasn't looking good on me... just thought i'll share the haul and will do a review on the brush and mascara in about two weeks time...

EOTD: Thursday July 14, 2009

This was the look i wore on thursday, i felt rather pinky :) so my eyes reflected my mood...

excuse the messy eyebrows growing them out to shape again.. [got messed up last month

I used:

• UDPP
• Mac Blurburry shadestick
• random gold eyeshadow in the corner of my eye
• carmine red mica [from Coastal Scents - CS] on most of the lid
• CS Auburn Dust in crease
• and UD scratch as highlighter
• CS grape gel liner on lid
• Avon purple luxury liner on waterline
• Maybelline collosal mascara in black

I dont usually use these colors so I'm going to be trying quite a few pink, purples and orange [sunset like] looks in the near future... have a small haul coming up soon... bye...

FOTD: June 1, 2009

So i realise that i dont get too much time during the week to blog. because of this i told myself i will try to spend at least 10 mins to blog on something :) so yayy.. i did this look today after realising that i hadn't use my ud deluxe palette for about 2 months. so i did this look. I used honey in the corners of my eyes to the first 1/3, then i used graffiti on the next 1/3, and then underground in the last 1/3 and outer v. I used shag to help with the blending and scratch as my eyelighter. I am test running the LA liquid liner in brown and i used that to line my upper lash line and Avon's luxury liner in dark brown for my water line. I used my collosal mascara in black to top it all off.. :)

For my face i used:

• Avon's Magix as my primer,
• then i used my mac full coverage foundation as concealer [love the consistency]
• to set it i used my everyday minerals foundation [can't remember my shade :( ]. I also used some fix +
• and then the edm powder.
• For blush and contour i used an estee lauder blush and contour duo [i got this as a gift from a friend]
• for highlighting i used a quad highlighter from Avon
• on my lips i have nyx coffee lip liner
• and nyx black label lipstick in dusty rose [my new love]
