City Color Cosmetics Baked Eyeshadows

I purchased three of these Eyeshadows and I'm so happy that I did. I paid $10ttd at Wonderful World. There were only 6 to choose from and i chose 3 out of the 6.  

What I didn't purchase included a duo chrome baby pink, duo chrome lilac and a white. The swatches of the three I purchased with speak for itself. 

I love these and have used them. The wear time is amazing. Very pigmented and blends well not too shimmery either. Would recommend these three.

I've used this highlighter for a bit and I absolutely enjoy this product.  Its amazing amount for the price. I love that it does not contain any glitter at all. It's really a nice natural highlight that lasts all day. Its so super cute and amazing detailing on the top. I will definitely recommend this product.

Swatched heavily on back of my hand. The consistency is so buttery and smooth. Applies very smooth and it's buildable.

City Color Cosmetics at Wonderful World

I decided that after my horrible customer service at Wonderful World West Mall, that i would give WW a break.. I was spending way too much money for horrible service.  But as I was waiting on a dear friend in Long Circular Mall I decided to pop in to the WW store thats located on the main floor.  As i went to the makeup section, I was pleasantly surprise to see City Color Cosmetics.  I started looking for all the other items. After I located them, I started taking pics.. You know I had to get the word to all my subbies, followers, makeup lovers... just had to get the word out to everyone.  So I  hauled a bit and then the next day I happened to be in the Chaguanas area and decided to check the WW store at Center City mall.  I did not have my phone so I was unable to take pics, but they did have a wide selection than the Long Circular mall branch, so of course I hauled again.  Below are photos of the displays at the Long Circular branch and the last pic is of what I hauled from the Center City mall branch.  I have recorded a vid on the hauls so you can check out my channel: http://www.youtube.com/roannavm for that vid.. The Balm Stainiac - Berry Queen

The Balm Stainiac - Berry Queen lip and cheek tint

Received this in a birchbox last year and never really used it. Didn't seem like a great product at that time so I just added it to my collection and left it there. I did try it another time and thought it was really faint and did nothing much for my tanned skin.

I received a sample size 

I was really happy with this sample size as in using it I would get a fair knowledge of how it works. So I tried it as a lip tint. It was exactly that a tint... It bear.y appeared on my lips... But it dried out my lips and ugh I wasn't happy

So it was a failure for lips. 

Today is the 3rd day I'm wearing it on my cheeks ....

My first impression of it on my cheeks........

I applied it with my fingers ... Applied pretty sheer I added a bit more... I'm barely noticing it... I felt like I

 was wasting my time... My intention really was to use it as a base like what I use cream blushes for...

After I applied the Stainiac I barely saw anything on my cheek... But guess what??? My fingers were stained and it was really crazy pigmented.... Strange right??

Well I added my powdered blush and BAM❗❗❗❗

It looked hot....omg I was in love somehow it transformed my powdered blush... I wore it for a work day and even into the evening night and my b,USB combo lasted all day looking the same way it did when I had just applied it I'm like so wow-out

Love love... Now I noticed that my little tube seems to be half filled lol three plus uses with swatches and its half filled.. I'm a bit sad to date because its gonna finish soon

However, even though it seems to be an enjoyable experience on my cheeks I will purchase. I think there are a lot of cheaper and much more pigmented products available now that work wayyyyyy better than this product 

I will rate this 3/5 because it didn't work well as a lip tint ... My only wish is that it's much more pigmented that it can be worn alone...

So recently I got an order .. yes yes more elf.. you know i can't resist my eyeslipsface products.  They keep bringing out new products omg... I am always going crazy.  I got a couple other stuff which I will post here with time but for starters I got this palette

They also have another one called sunset but I felt that was going to be too neutral and I had a number of palettes that are very similar to it.

Walking away

So the stress continues a bit, as I had to walk away from a job I craved for!  I know it was everything I wanted my promotion to be, but it would have been so demanding, challenging and yet still fulfilling.  But I walked away, stupid right??? I think so in my head, but my heart is telling me I did the right thing.  Why?.. because I had to do it for the loves of my life.  I would have ended up being a slave to my job.  I enjoy the fact that my job is so flexible and I can be so involved in my boys life, trading that for $$$ will never work out.  why get $$ and then miss the moments, thats my thought! so as much as I am thinking walking away was omg horrific .. I know deep down inside I did the right thing... other jobs will always come up.... i hope lol..

BETRAYAL...!!! - Deal or not to Deal!

So this post is a bit different from the regular makeup.. beauty items.  But it is an issue we face sadly at times in our lives.  Its something some of of are scared to speak out on and others will fly a banner across the sky if they could.  For me it has changed.  In my late teens and mid twenties I would want to tell the person, confront, and tell the whole world with all sort of intentions: embarrass the person, warn the world or just to simply get it out...Within the last couple of years I became the silent type.  The silent type ranging from just telling friends and confronting the person, to just the person, to just close friends to just my bff and now i've just resort to telling God.  But lately I shared something with a couple close friends and then i realise that telling others did nothing for me.  I still felt crappy, it didnt change the situation. To those who I told they all gave different responses, so I ended up feeling more confused.  So days later, I realise that another person has betrayed my trust.  And I feel like i'm sinking even further into a hole.  Its strange that I dont want to be around people, and Im a person who loves to have people around them (well good friends that is).  Now I just want to be by myself.  Strange enough Im now even going through a phrase I dont even want to touch my makeup.  I'm at a sense of feeling so lost, and i know there are stages in dealing with betrayal and its grief, so I thought i'll just blog my days through it ..
I hope it can get better, I'm really at a lost of dealing with it.  I've cried a bit, I want to try more but the tears wont come out.. and I think that is driving me insane that I feel like i can't express or get it out of me... then I wonder who I really want it out of me, if it gets out can I really deal with its reality.. My head hurts so much as I write this, my eyes are burning (and i dont think its from tears) My heart seems to be beyond repair and i feel the walls closing in.. I'm afraid i'll crash at some point.. i feel so sad..
Its time to get on my knees!!
