Lush Porridge soap review..

I'm so sorry that I have not been keeping up to date with this blog, work has me soooo busy. I wanted to do this review a long time ago.

This was the 2nd soap i used from my first lush haul. And omg, i was upset i didn't try it before. this will be one of my favorites... i love love... did i say love... this soap. love the scent ... i wanted to take a bite :) its so yummy, it has like a caramel, toffee kinda scent to it.. and its really creamy also. It lathers really well too... the pieces of oats that are in it can be quite a bit messy for your bath/shower, all you need to do is rinse the area that has the fall outs. Another thing i noticed though is that because its creamy it melts pretty fast, you will need to make sure it dries well between use, so that it does not melt in your hands when you are in the shower. I would keep smelling my skin after shower.. one set back i noticed is that my skin is a lil bit dry after, but i use lotion so that isn't a prob. If you haven't purchased this soap from lush i definitely would recommend you to rush into lush and grab yourself a piece. Its not one of the expensive soaps from Lush, so you can grab yourself quite a bit :) Definitely buying this again... oh wait i already bought myself another piece :)

New Nail Design and eye look for the weekend...using nyx products

So i did this design for the weekend... I used the base and top coat from my sally's haul and a nyx polish.. (which i can't remember now i will edit this later and add it when i grab my nailpolish bag) and my white and silver nail art nailpolish from kiss .... a friend told me it looks like an oriental symbol.. of course i have no clue i just did it at random...

I also did this look on friday.. the pictures did not come out too clear it was with nyx blues of course i dont remember the names because i used my tester palette from nyx that i have.. i have to match the numbers with the names from the catalog.. i tried this on myself because a friend wanted me to do her eyes using blues cause she was interested in getting some nyx shadows.. anyways this is what i came up with..

Review on Lush's SEXY PEEL soap

As promised as I use the soaps I will give my simple "in my opinion" reviews. I personally do not like lemon or lime products.. but my hubby loves citrus smelling things, so I decided to try this. I am glad that I did. It has a very refreshing zing to it... and i love love how it has citrus peel in the soap itself. It lathers well and as you use it the citrus peel comes out and does a little exfoliating.. but it smells up your shower.. you can't help but feel refreshed... so i used this on mornings..its not particularly moisturizing, but it doesn't dry out your skin either... when i use it i would simply come out of the shower and do my lotion as usual.. I bought a chunk that was worth like $7.00 and i cut a small piece out of it, I think I can get about 4 more good size pieces similar to the one I used for the sample. I was able to get about 6 showers with that chunk.. and i really did use it.. at first I didn't want to stop bathing :) lol or come out of the shower.. so I think its economical, its lathers great, the smell is absolutely refreshing, it leaves your shower smelling really yummy...will definitely buy again :) Hope my little review will convince you enough to at least try a sample when next you are visiting your Lush store.... have a good one... bye...

My Mac Pigments

I have 10 Mac Pigments. I have 6 full size and the Mac Christmas collection 08. I took pictures and swatches for you. The swatches are without any base. I love my pigments... they last all day especially when you use a base.

My first Lush Haul...

Over the weekend, I was in Orlando and I went to the Lush store at the Florida Mall. It was my first time at Lush... of course I went crazy because I saw too many youtubers showing off their Lush. Actually crazy was an understatement. I even pulled my hubby in the store with me and he actually tried some of the stuff on his skin ... and he likes the products too so that is a yayy.. This is what I got Figs and Leaves soap, Sexy peel [hubby loved this one], Honey I washed the kids [of course], Porridge soap, Sultana of soap, Ice blue [hubby loved this one too]. I also got Buffy, fresh farmacy face soap and a sample of the vanishing cream [came in a small black jar], i also asked for free samples of the tea tree oil toner [cause it burned my hand when tried it], and the rub rub rub scrub. and i also got a free gift of a massage bar forgot its name.. but its for sore muscles ...
so far i've tried ice blue and sexy peel, and loved them. I will post a full review in a few days.. I've cut them into smaller pieces that I will use one at a time so that I can write my reviews, so currently i'm using sexy peel and my hubby is using ice blue which he says he lovessss the smell...

Pros: Great Design, Functional, Inexpensive, Compact, Easy To Use

Best Uses: Travel, Everyday

Describe Yourself: Natural Style

i love this brush its worth way more than $1 i bought a few and i have a few out.. its really a great brush definitely would recommend this to everyone. I use this product every day or everytime i apply eyeshadow.. i use it for my lid sometimes i use it to put on highlighter also. The only pro is that its not a brush that has a longlife span.. i notice [esp. since i use it almost everyday day] that if treated with it can last up to a year.. one i didn't treat so well lasted a little over 6 months... but because its so inexpensive you can always throw out and get another... love love htis product.

Pros: Moisturizing, Even Application, Pleasant Tasting, True To Color, Glossy Finish

Best Uses: Everyday Use

Describe Yourself: Natural Style

I saw a number of reviews on this product before i decided to purchase it. I was really skeptical, but i really wanted to try it because it had spf 15. I bought this using the 50% off code up to $15.00 [Carolina]. I bought Malt Shake and Iced Latte. I personally prefer Malt Shake because it gives me a slight color, lush to my lips. What made me not give this product 5 stars is the packaging. the application is rather rough because the hole that the product comes out of is rather rough. I really hate this because it bruises my lips with every application. Its best to use a lip brush when one is applying this product. its staying power is pretty amazing for $1. I would definitely encourage you to try this alone or over lipstick...

Brick and Lime eyeshadow look

So i tried this look out a few sunday's ago and decided i'll post the look. I wore a simple shalwar which had red, green and brown on it. this is the look i came up with. I can't remember the name of the colors used but they were all nyx shadows..

My Review of Brightening Eye Color

EyesLipsFace.com

Luxuriously smooth, corn silk formula provides eyes with a neutral base and an awakened brightness. The formula blends into skin for a long lasting, beautiful effect. The 4 color quad allows for both natural and dramatic looks. Mirror in compact included.

nice deal!

Pros: Applies Smoothly, Blends Easily, Great Color, Silky Texture

Cons: Wears Off Easily, Cheap Compact Case

Best Uses: Everyday

Describe Yourself: Classic Style

Skin Tone: Medium

This is really not a bad deal for $1. with this quad you're getting 4 complimentary colors for $1... you can't expect a better deal. My only problem with these quads is that the color fades off if you dont use a great primer or base. I'll suggest even if you use elf's cream duo as your base you should still prime. This helps especially with individuals who have oily lids like myself. I personally use udpp [urban decay primer potion] and this make the shadow color pop and also stay on. For me i can go to work at 8 and return home at 6 and my eyeshadow is still intact. I do not recommend that you use this on its own or with the cream duo as a base.

My Review of Duo Eye Shadow Cream

EyesLipsFace.com

Express yourse.l.f. with the easy to blend, crease resistant, creamy duo eye shadow colors. Each gorgeous shade can be worn alone or together for a dramatic effect. The soft-blending formula can also be layered under powder eye shadow to set the color in and keep it lasting vibrant all day.

Not too bad when used with udpp

Pros: Blends Easily, Applies Smoothly, Silky Texture, Great Color

Cons: Wears Off Easily, Creases

Best Uses: Everyday

Describe Yourself: Classic Style

I used this a few times recently with a combination of things... on its own it creases and wears off with your shadow.. but if used with a primer like udpp or tfsi it works great. personally like butter pecan and olive.. haven't tried the others... i'm more or less into browns and greens... not bad for 1.00 at all..

Eye of the Day....

so yesterday i decided to take the kids to see X-Men: Wolverine can't remember the full name... i hadn't done much eye makeup recently so i decided to play aroun... i used mac's melon and old gold on the lid..i used the darkest green from an elf's quad [ivy] in the crease and the light green from that same quad as highlighter. I lined with Avon's luxury liner in dark brown. i decided to try the elf's quad because i saw a few youtube gurus say that they aren't that bad and so i thought i'll try it myself. honestly the staying power wasn't bad at all cause i primed with udpp. I also tried elf's cream duo in olive as a base on top of the udpp. I dont use falsies but i did apply my colossal's mascara from maybelline.. i've been using this for months i dont have a problem with it except at first the scent was a bit overwhelming...
